Recognizable for his numerous black and white portraits, Joseph Cardo is an Italian fashion photographer.
Still a teenager, fascinated by the covers of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, he began to study photography as a self-taught artist, educating himself in analog.
This passion soon turned into a true vocation and, in 1994, Joseph left his native Puglia for Milan.
Here he began to refine his technique and experiment with the suggestions absorbed during the study of great masters such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton.
