We are Film Festival International Ltd, a holding name for a group of international Film Festivals, including but not limited to London International Filmmaker Festival Ltd (London IFF), Festival International du SOF Ltd (Nice IFF), Festival International de Madrid Ltd (Madrid IFF), Filmmaker Festival Berlin Ltd (Berlin IFF), Italys Independent International Film Festival Ltd t/a Italy International Film Festival (Italy IFF & Lombardy IFF), Filmmaker Festival Amsterdam Ltd (Amsterdam IFF). Each event is a company in it’s own right, registered in England & Wales. Our principal place of business is at 56 Addington Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1QS, UK. Throughout these terms when we mention “we”, “us”, “our” etc., we mean Film Festival International Ltd with the terms relating to each individual event. When we refer to “you” we mean the user and/or browser of our website.

Madrid International Film Festival and Nice International Film Festival are global registered trade marks. The use of these names or derivatives of these names is strictly prohibited.

You are reading the terms and conditions for use of the filmfestinternational.com website. They make a legally binding contract between you and us. Your acceptance of the terms and conditions is made by your browsing our website and is dated to your first use of the website. If you do not accept the terms and conditions or any part of them you should stop using our website immediately.

We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time which will take effect from the date of posting on the website. Your continued use of the site will mark your acceptance of any changes to the terms and conditions.

We may from time to time display additional terms and conditions on our website, for example in connection with a specific promotion or in connection with the sale of goods or services. If the terms and conditions for use of the website should conflict in any way with such additional terms then the additional terms will prevail.

Our guiding principle is that your Personal Data is only held to allow us to support and improve your customer relationship with filmfestinternational.com.

So far as lawfully possible, we exclude all liability to you in contract or delict (negligence) (other than negligence by us which gives rise to personal injury or death). We also exclude liability for any consequential or indirect loss, which may be caused to you by us.

We are situated in Great Britain and the law of Great Britain shall govern any interpretation of these terms and conditions. The British Courts shall have jurisdiction in any disputes between us.

All tickets for any Film Festival International Ltd event are non-refundable. This includes but is not limited to Day Tickets to Screenings, Tickets to Networking Events, Tickets to Festival Opening Events and Tickets to our Awards Event. Our event staff reserve the right of admission and their decision is final. Please note that the programme may be subject to change.

We offer Filmmaker Packages for your convenience. All hotel bookings are made by us as a service. Once paid, all money is transferred immediately to the hotel and as such, refunds are not available for any hotel reservations made as part of a Filmmaker Package at any of Film Festival International Ltd events.

Fees charged to enter any of Film Festival International Ltd events are administrative fees only. It does not guarantee acceptance into any event. It does not guarantee the winning of an award at any event. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Any physical material sent to the Festival for any event is to be done at the expense of the sender. This includes, but is not limited to, Blu-Ray disks, DVD’s, external hard drives, USB flash drives, film posters and any other promotional material. The sender is obligated to pay the postage as well as any import duty incurred.

We will always try to accommodate requests for different beds or other services that are supplied by the hotel, however we can only make this as a request, and we cannot accept no responsibility if a bed requested, or any other service is not supplied.

All Sponsorship & Marketing and advertising in the magazine or banner packages are for the agreed term. All sponsorship must be fully paid in advance and is non refundable, under our client’s instructions we will cancel a sponsorship agreement or postpone the advertising to the next event, however any monies paid will be considered paid in advance and will not be refunded if it is necessary to move the event or date or the client cancels the agreement.

We advise that anyone travelling to any Film Festival International Ltd event take out full travel insurance. Film Festival International Ltd will not be liable for any personal injury sustained while attending any Film Festival International Ltd event.

It is the responsibility of any attendees of our events to inform the management of any disabilities that may affect their enjoyment of any aspects of our events. Time must be given to organise suitable services for them.

By filling out the Job Shop form and offering your services through this web site you are giving permission for Film Festival International Ltd to make your information available to producers looking for crew members for film production and jobs in the film industry.

You are free to take your pop-up banner with you to use for your own future marketing. We are happy to keep hold of it if you are displaying it at future Film Fest International events, however we will only keep each banner for 3 months after the final event it’s used for. After this, they will be discarded. To arrange postage please get in touch ASAP so we can get the banner back to you.

March 5th 2020 UPDATE

Film festival international Ltd owner of Festival cannot be held responsible for any attendees of the Rome Film Festival losing any money as a result of the Coronavirus. We suggest any traveler obtain their own travel insurance to cover any short falls or cancellations because of this virus.

September 2022 UPDATE

Please read the entire content of this text carefully before submitting your project to the festival.

The Festival was created to celebrate the art of filmmaking and to honor the filmmakers who make it all possible.
The entire application process is done online through FilmFreeway.

How the Festival works:
In the first round, the jury members choose the films and scripts in a broader way. Selected films and screenplays will receive a link to the official selection Laurel.
In the second round, the jury members re-judge the selected films and scripts, analyzing each project in more detail and more rigorously
They then decide the winners of each category as well as the jury’s special awards.

The Filmmakers will be invited to the awards ceremony, where they will receive a trophy and certificate.
The trophies and certificates of the winners who do not attend the event can be bought and sent by post or other shipping company.
They will receive a free digital version of the certificate only.

In the event of technical issues beyond our control we will move the Awards Ceremony live stream to the next possible date and time, we are not able to offer refunds if this issue arises.
All non attendant filmmakers and script author winners will receive at there request free of charge a digital winning certificate, the statue is not offered free to winners not attending the festival, non attending filmmakers and author can purchase the statue if they wish —
All films entered will automatically be entered in to the competition of the festival, all films entered will be viewed and judged in the competition of the festival, however if time is short during the festival it is our first responsibility to schedule films for screening were the filmmakers attend the screening so as to support there movie
