Synopsis
Units for Difficult Patients are the most supervised psychiatric units in France. It provides care for mental patients dangerous to society, hospitalized at the request of the prefect because they have committed acts of violence, some may go as far as murder. Near Bordeaux, the Cadillac UMD is one of the oldest: patients suffer from very heavy psychiatric pathologies, their illness has dragged them so far that they need 24-hour surveillance.The story of these men is often painful,This film mainly gives voice to the patients. Auditory hallucinations, delirium of persecution …they tell us their diseases and their symptoms. It is through them and their history that we discover the everyday life of this very closed place.
