Synopsis
This video tells the stories of some of the kids who have grown up in this beautiful home for destitute children in Rishikesh, North India. Often coming from backgrounds of horrific abuse, many of the older ones are now at university – showing how love can overcome everything.
Some clips of the kids from earlier films that I shot there show them as they develop into healthy, happy teenagers and young adults, with bright futures in many different professions – very different from the difficult lives they would have had otherwise. The older kids care for and help the younger ones – it’s a great big family, created by the charismatic American woman who started the place some 25 years ago.
