Synopsis
The story of brave voluteers who delivered a small medical ship over a 9,000 mile journey from Scotland to Lake Victoria in Africa to provide a heath service for the abandoned islanders who live on the 500 remote islands on the lake, most of whom have never seen a doctor. Part of the delivery included the haulage of the boat on a six-hundred mile journey across the plains of Africa on board a 96-wheel trailer.
